The Department of Digital Green Technology (DGTech) will welcome its first cohort of students in April 2027. During the session, participants will learn about the program, admission requirements, student life　at Sophia, and other information for prospective applicants.

The session is organized in collaboration with OJEIC Malaysia, one of the ASEAN regional offices of the Global Network Project to Promote Study in Japan, a project commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan and implemented by Okayama University. OJEIC provides information on studying in Japan and organizes seminars and education fairs for prospective students throughout the ASEAN region.

The session is open to prospective students interested in studying science and technology in Japan, as well as parents, teachers, and school counselors.

The Department of Digital Green Technology will be a newly established English-taught undergraduate program in the Faculty of Science and Technology. The program will welcome its first students from April 2027. Admission information for the 2027 intake has been released.

Registration is now open for Sophia University’s On-Campus Information Session for English-taught Undergraduate Programs, to be held on July 12, 2026.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about Sophia’s English-taught undergraduate programs, admissions procedures, and student life. The event will also feature sample lectures, including an introduction to the planned Department of Digital Green Technology (DGTech), scheduled to welcome its first students in April 2027.

Prospective students, parents, and school counselors are warmly invited to attend.

The fairs provide prospective students, parents, and school counselors with opportunities to learn more about studying in Japan and to speak directly with representatives from Japanese educational institutions. Sophia University will introduce its undergraduate programs, admissions information, scholarship opportunities, and student support services, with a particular focus on its English-taught degree programs.

At Sophia University’s booth, visitors will be able to consult with university staff in English, and in some locations, support may also be available in Japanese or local languages. Staff members will provide guidance regarding both Japanese-taught and English-taught programs, admissions procedures, campus life, and studying in Japan. Depending on visitors’ interests and questions, participants may also be referred to appropriate offices within the university.
