Sophia University Announces Curriculum for New Department of Digital Green Technology (Scheduled to be established in April 2027)

Sophia University is pleased to announce that the curriculum for its newly planned Department of Digital Green Technology, scheduled to open in April 2027, has now been published.
DGTech places data science and digital technologies at the core of its curriculum. At the same time, it offers an integrated education that combines traditional fields of science and engineering, such as applied chemistry and life sciences, as well as mechanical engineering and electrical and electronic engineering. Students will systematically explore the role of engineering in addressing the challenges of our future society.

There are two entry periods: Spring (April) and Autumn (September)
The methods of admission are as follows:
- Spring: Regular Admissions (Document screening) and Admissions by Recommendation (Only for those who are enrolled in Japanese high schools)
Autumn: Regular Admissions (Documents screening) - One out of SAT/ACT/IB Diploma/GCE A-Levels (3 subjects)/EJU scores will be required.
TOEFL iBT® or IELTS Academic score will be required. - For other required documents, please refer to the current guidelines of the Green Science and Green Engineering programs (FST: When and How to Apply | Sophia University Admissions).
