Notice Concerning the Japan Pre-Entry Tuberculosis Screening

The Japanese Government has established a policy introducing required Tuberculosis (TB) screening to all Certificate Of Eligibility applicants from the Philippines, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, Nepal and Myanmar.
If you are a national of any target country, make sure to check the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare website here and confirm the procedures concerning your country.

There are two entry periods: Spring (April) and Autumn (September)

The methods of admission are as follows:

  • Spring: Regular Admissions (Document screening) and Admissions by Recommendation (Only for those who are enrolled in Japanese high schools)
    Autumn: Regular Admissions (Documents screening)
  • One out of SAT/ACT/IB Diploma/GCE A-Levels (3 subjects)/EJU scores will be required.
    TOEFL iBT® or IELTS Academic score will be required.
  • For other required documents, please refer to the current guidelines of the Green Science and Green Engineering programs below:

Please find below the admission information for the Green Science and Green Engineering programs for your reference. After the last intake for first-year and third-year transfer applicants for Academic Year 2026 (Autumn entry), the Green Science and Green Engineering Programs will cease accepting new students, and transfer applications will no longer be accepted.
